Trade Mission and Ceremony in China - November 17-28, 2006
Delegation Tours Five Cities During Second Business/Cultural Trip - A delegation of 45 CCIMs and their family members participated in a 12-day trade mission to China November 17-28, 2006. The itinerary featured visits to five major cities: Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou and included meetings with Chinese government officials, developers and educators, tours of new state-of-the-art developments and historic sites, and networking events with CCIM professionals from China. Highlights included visits to the Great Wall, The Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.

South Korea Conference 2006
Leaders from CCIM Institute, the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Appraisal Institute gathered in Seoul in early 2006 for preliminary discussions on future education and networking programs. Discussion included a possible joint conference in 2007. CCIM Institute has a strong presence in South Korea, with more than 280 designees. The CCIM delegation was led by Joseph Fisher, CCIM (front row, center), CCIM Institute 2006 President Elect.
Journey to Japan 2006
To foster continued growth in Asia, leadership of CCIM Institute met in Toyko in early 2006 with representatives from JREM, the Japan chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. CCIM Institute has held education courses in Japan since 2004. Joseph Fisher, CCIM, (standing, center) CCIM Institute 2006 President Elect, led the CCIM delegation.
