Dear CCIM Member,

It’s my pleasure to invite you to join me and other CCIMs at Europe’s premier commercial real estate event, Expo Real, taking place in Munich, Germany October 6 – 8, 2008. Last year, nearly 24,000 visitors and 2,000 exhibitors participated, making Expo Real one of the biggest events of its kind.

At Expo Real, you’ll have the opportunity to network with other CCIM members and thousands of other real estate professionals. The Expo Real Forums feature industry experts from around the world and are considered the most important information exchange in the commercial real estate industry.  I will have the opportunity to represent the CCIM Institute as a panelist on October 8 at 10:00 am speaking on Market Research & Survey.

Above all, Expo Real is a great place to do business. Previous CCIM attendees have had great success in forging new relationships that resulted in deals after the conference, and many closed deals during Expo Real. This will be a great year to impress on international investors that now is the time to buy in America.

This year CCIM will co-exhibit with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The booth (B1.021) will feature CCIM branding and literature and can be used by members in attendance for small, informal meetings and to leave messages for others. NAR will host a reception at the booth during the event. You are encouraged to use the booth as your base for operations throughout the conference.

The CCIM Institute will again host an orientation from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 5, prior to the Expo at the ArabellaSheraton Grand Hotel. Previous CCIM members who have attended Expo Real will share tips for making the most of your time there, and you’ll have an opportunity to meet other CCIMs. You will also have the option to join other members for dinner at 8:00 pm at “Paulaner’s Wirthaus”, a Bavarian restaurant at the Sheraton.  Each dinner attendee is responsible for his/her dinner bill. Further details will be sent to participants once the schedule is finalized.

Prior to registering, please contact the CCIM Institute at 312-321-4518 or email international@ccim.com.

Hotel accommodations are the responsibility of each participant. As Expo Real draws closer, rooms will be increasingly difficult to find. We recommend you make a reservation as soon as you decide on attending. Please also note that the last day of Oktoberfest is October 5. For bookings through the Expo Real site, visit www.exporeal.net/link/en/16440960#16440960. You may also use hotel booking sites to make reservations.

For a complete schedule and further event information, visit www.exporeal.net.  Before you register, contact the CCIM Institute at 312-321-4518 or email international@ccim.com

I look forward to seeing you in Munich.

Sincerely,

Tim Haltestad
